Granny blanket - How many squares?
Thanks for all the enthusiastic reactions on my first blog about my granny blanket! :-D It was fun to read and also nice that you will follow this project and also support me :-D
Ik moet meteen wat bekennen, ik heb een fout gemaakt. Gelukkig kwam ik er nog vroeg achter en niet pas aan het eind want dan had ik heel erg gebaald. Ik deed de 'joining as you go' methode verkeerd waardoor je een beetje een opstaand randje tussen de squares kreeg. Na de blog dacht ik laat ik nog eens naar de tutorial van Lucy, Attic 24 kijken en ja hoor, ik moest het net iets anders doen. Ik heb alle laatste toeren van de in het vorige blogberichtje gehaakte squares weer uit elkaar gehaald en daarna op de juiste manier weer aan elkaar gehaakt. Nu gelukkig geen randjes meer! :-)
I have to confess something, I made a mistake. Lucky for me I found it out soon and not at the end because then I would be quite angry. I did the 'joining as you go' method wrong so I got a kind of an edge between the squares. After I posted the blog I relooked at the tutorial from Lucy, Attic 24 and yes, I had to do it different. I had to pull out all the last rows of teh squares and redid them the correct way. No more edges between the squares! :-)
Gisteren vroeg ik op mijn facebook page en twitter op hoeveel squares ik zou zitten. Ik vond het erg leuk om alle reactie's te lezen. Jullie denken dat ik best ver ben. Het laagste 'bod' was 110 en het hoogste 1234 :-D
Yesterday I asked on my facebook page and twitter how many squares I'm at. I had a lot of fun ready the comments. You all think I'm very far. The lowest bit was 110 and the highest 1234 :-D

Gisteren maakte ik de foto's voor de blog van vandaag. Ik heb 85 squares gehaakt, dus ik heb niet gehaald wat jullie van mij verwachtten. Sinds 20 maart ben ik bezig geweest met een ander projectje (as vrijdag de onthulling), anders was ik al een stuk verder geweest.
Yesterday (when I took the photos for todays blog) I had crocheted 85 squares. So I didn't got to what you all expected. I'm busy with another project since the 20th of March (it will be revealed next Friday), otherwise I would be much further.
Zoals je op de foto's kunt zien had ik nog niet alle draadjes afgehecht, inmiddels wel.
Like you can see on the photo I hadn't wove in all the ends, now I did for all the 85 squares.
Update maart 2013: Ik heb 85 van de 1681 squares gehaakt, nog 1596 te gaan.
Update March 2013: I crocheted 85 squares from the 1681, I need to crochet 1596 more.
